A formal script with a delicate hairline-and-shade structure, showing pronounced contrast between thin entry strokes and fuller downstrokes. Letterforms are tall and slender with a restrained rightward slant, and many capitals feature extended loops and airy internal counters. Stroke terminals often finish in fine, tapered points, with occasional ball-like joins and gentle curls. Lowercase forms keep a compact x-height and rely on ascenders, descenders, and entry/exit strokes to create rhythm; connections appear selective rather than continuously joined, keeping spacing open and legible for a script.

Capitals carry much of the ornamentation, with long leading swashes and occasional looping cross-strokes, while lowercase maintains a simpler ductus for text setting. Numerals echo the same calligraphic contrast and narrow, upright posture, with curved figures (2, 3, 8, 9) showing especially fluid, ribbon-like movement.
