A sharply fractured blackletter with narrow proportions and a tight, vertical rhythm. Strokes alternate between thick stems and hairline-like joins, ending in pointed wedges and blade-like terminals that create a chiseled, faceted texture across words. Counters are compact and often partially enclosed, while diagonals and curved parts are rendered as angular breaks rather than smooth arcs, reinforcing the disciplined, architectural feel. The numerals follow the same pointed, broken construction and read best at display sizes where the internal joins stay clear.

Best suited to display typography such as posters, headlines, mastheads, and identity work where a historic or ceremonial mood is desired. It can work for short passages or pull quotes when set generously, but the dense blackletter texture is most effective in larger sizes and limited amounts of text.

The overall tone is medieval and authoritative, with a ceremonial severity that evokes manuscripts, heraldry, and formal proclamations. Its crisp angles and disciplined verticality give it a stern, traditional voice that can feel both stately and dramatic.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic blackletter presence with crisp, broken strokes and an emphatic vertical cadence, prioritizing atmosphere and tradition over everyday readability. Its restrained width and high-contrast detailing aim to produce a strong, authoritative word image for prominent, attention-holding settings.

In text lines, the dense patterning and frequent pointed terminals create a strong color and an insistent texture; spacing and word shape rely heavily on the repeating vertical stems. Capitals are especially ornate and commanding, while lowercase remains compact and rhythm-driven.
