A conventional serif with bracketed, wedge-like serifs and clear thick–thin modulation throughout. Capitals are stately and well-proportioned, with a round, open C and G and a crisp, slightly tapered E and F. Lowercase shows an oldstyle influence with a two-storey a, a double-storey g with a distinct ear, and a sturdy, readable bowl structure; terminals tend to end in small beaks or subtle teardrop shapes. Numerals are proportional, with strong vertical stress and distinct forms that hold up well in text.

Well-suited to long-form reading in books, essays, and editorial layouts where a familiar serif texture is desired. It also fits academic and institutional documents, reports, and traditional brand identities that benefit from a credible, established typographic voice.

The overall tone is traditional and bookish, projecting authority and editorial seriousness. Its sharp serifs and classic proportions suggest a refined, established voice suited to information-forward typography rather than display novelty.

The design appears intended as a dependable text serif that balances strong contrast and crisp serifs with stable proportions for comfortable paragraph setting, while retaining enough character in its terminals and classic forms to feel distinguished in headings.

Spacing and rhythm read steady in the sample paragraph, with moderately compact counters that keep words cohesive while preserving clarity. The italics are not shown, so the personality here is defined by a clean roman texture and its pronounced, classic serif detailing.
