A crisp, high-contrast serif with strongly bracketed serifs and a pronounced thick–thin rhythm. Capitals are stately and evenly proportioned, with sharp, slightly wedge-like finishing that keeps strokes clean rather than calligraphic. The lowercase shows a traditional text face structure: compact, well-contained counters, sturdy stems, and controlled curves, with a two-storey “a” and “g” and a gently slanted stress in rounded letters. Numerals follow the same refined contrast and serif treatment, reading clearly in text while retaining a slightly engraved, print-classic texture.

Well-suited to long-form reading contexts such as book interiors, essays, reports, and editorial layouts where a classic serif texture is desired. It can also support formal brand materials—programs, invitations, and institutional communications—when set with comfortable leading and conservative tracking.

The overall tone is traditional and literary, evoking printed books, editorial pages, and institutional materials. Its contrast and crisp terminals give it a refined, formal voice, while the steady rhythm keeps it comfortable and familiar for extended reading.

The design appears intended as a conventional, highly readable serif for continuous text, pairing traditional proportions with a sharper, higher-contrast finish to deliver a polished, print-forward appearance.

Spacing appears balanced and text color is moderately dark, producing a composed, authoritative page texture in the sample paragraphs. The italic is not shown; all examples appear upright.
