A mixed-case text face with a clean, mostly monoline skeleton that’s been deliberately roughed up. Strokes show irregular, broken edges and occasional blotting, as if from worn letterpress type, dry-brush ink, or a distressed print scan. Curves and terminals are slightly inconsistent, with subtle wobble and localized thickening that creates a lively texture in running text. Counters stay generally open and readable, while round letters (O, Q, o) and diagonals (K, V, W, X) display the strongest distressed contouring.

Best suited for display and short-to-medium text where texture is part of the message: posters, event flyers, album covers, zines, craft packaging, and brand marks that want a worn or handmade feel. It can work in larger paragraph settings for themed pieces, but the rough edges and unevenness are most effective at headline and subhead sizes.

The overall tone is gritty and handmade, suggesting age, wear, and tactile printing. It reads as informal and characterful rather than refined, with an energetic, slightly chaotic texture that can feel vintage, DIY, or punk-adjacent depending on context.

The design appears intended to provide a familiar, readable text structure while adding an intentionally degraded surface—evoking imperfect inking, weathered type, or distressed reproduction. The goal is to deliver strong character and atmosphere without fully sacrificing clarity.

Uppercase forms are sturdy and straightforward, while the lowercase introduces more variance and a casual rhythm. Numerals follow the same distressed treatment and keep simple, familiar shapes, helping the font remain legible even with heavy texture. The distress is consistent across the set, producing a cohesive “printed rough” color when set in paragraphs.
