A slanted serif with sculpted, calligraphic forms and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Serifs are bracketed and often taper into sharp, wedge-like entry and exit strokes, with several teardrop or ball-like terminals on lower-case details. The lowercase shows a fluid, slightly compressed rhythm with pronounced joins and directional stress, while capitals feel sturdy and formal, carrying strong diagonals and crisp finishing strokes. Numerals are similarly stylized, with curving strokes and tapered ends that echo the letterforms.

Well suited for magazine headlines, editorial decks, pull quotes, and other situations where a classic serif voice needs extra intensity. It can also support premium branding and packaging where an italic-forward, refined texture adds personality without becoming ornamental.

The overall tone is polished and expressive, combining classical bookish credibility with a fashionable, high-end flair. Its dramatic contrast and sweeping italic energy suggest sophistication and momentum, making text feel more emphatic and curated than purely utilitarian.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with heightened contrast and italic motion, offering a confident, editorial look that remains familiar while feeling more stylized and energetic.

At display sizes the sharp terminals, bracketed serifs, and contrast-driven counters read cleanly and give the texture a lively sparkle. In continuous text, the slant and strong modulation create a distinct typographic voice, with especially characterful shapes in letters like a, g, y, and the curved numerals.
