This is a high-contrast italic serif with a pronounced rightward slant and crisp, tapered terminals. Serifs are finely bracketed and often wedge-like, with hairline entry strokes and stronger downstrokes that create a lively thick–thin rhythm. Curves show diagonal stress, and many joins and terminals feel calligraphic, giving the outlines a fluid, drawn quality rather than rigid geometry. Capitals are stately and slightly narrow in feel, while the lowercase keeps a moderate x-height with clear ascenders and descenders; overall spacing reads text-oriented with a smooth italic flow.

Well-suited to editorial design, long-form book and magazine typography, and refined display moments such as pull quotes, subheads, and titling. It can also support formal communications—programs, invitations, and premium branding—where a classic italic serif voice is desired.

The tone is classic and literary, with an elegant, editorial voice. Its sharp contrast and fluent italic movement evoke traditional book typography and formal printed matter, leaning refined rather than playful or utilitarian.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional, readable text serif italic with added sophistication through strong contrast and calligraphic detailing. It prioritizes an elegant texture and a smooth italic cadence for continuous reading and polished editorial hierarchy.

In text, the italic angle and contrast are strong enough to be expressive, so it reads best when given comfortable size and line spacing. Numerals follow the same contrast model, presenting as traditional, text-friendly figures that visually harmonize with the lowercase rhythm.
