This typeface is a right-leaning serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a confident, slightly condensed-to-normal rhythm that reads as sturdy despite its diagonal stress. Stems and diagonals finish in tapered, flared terminals and bracketed serifs, giving many joins a sharpened, chiseled feel rather than blunt endings. Curves are generous and smooth (notably in O, C, and the bowls), while counters stay relatively open for the style. The lowercase shows a single-storey a and g, compact shoulders, and lively entry/exit strokes that reinforce a continuous forward motion.

It performs best in display and headline settings where the contrast and slant can provide punch—magazine features, poster titles, book or album covers, and brand marks that want a classic yet energized voice. It can also work for short pull quotes and section openers where a strong typographic hierarchy is needed.

The overall tone feels editorial and literary, with a dramatic, high-energy slant that suggests urgency and emphasis. Its sharp terminals and strong contrast add a premium, slightly theatrical character suited to attention-grabbing typography without becoming ornamental.

The design appears intended to blend classic serif structure with an energetic italic stance and flared, sharpened finishing details. The goal seems to be strong emphasis and elegance—delivering a traditional editorial feel while increasing impact through contrast, motion, and crisp terminals.

The numerals share the same forward momentum and contrast, with angled top strokes and crisp finishing details that keep figures visually consistent with the capitals. Across the set, diagonals (V/W/X/Y) and the curved letters maintain a cohesive stress and terminal treatment, producing a consistent dark color in short runs while remaining crisp at display sizes.
