A heavy, display-oriented slab serif with squared, bracketless serifs and an overall octagonal silhouette created by frequent chamfered corners. Stems are thick and vertical, with sharp interior cuts and small triangular notches that give the shapes a carved, beveled feel. Counters tend to be narrow and rectangular, and joins are crisp rather than rounded, producing a compact, high-impact texture. Uppercase forms are tall and rigid, while the lowercase keeps similarly chunky construction with simplified bowls and short, stout terminals; numerals follow the same angular, cut-corner logic.

Best suited for posters, headlines, and branding where maximum impact is needed. It works well on packaging, labels, and apparel graphics that benefit from a rugged, heritage or Western-tinged voice, and can also serve for sports or event titling where a strong, uniform-like presence is desired.

The font projects a bold, assertive tone with strong vintage cues—evoking signage, uniforms, and old-style headline printing. Its chiseled geometry and dense black shapes feel mechanical and rugged, lending an energetic, slightly nostalgic character that reads as both utilitarian and theatrical.

The design appears intended to modernize classic slab-serif display lettering through chamfered, cut-corner construction and carved details, maximizing presence while maintaining consistent, sign-ready letterforms. The emphasis is on bold recognition and stylistic flavor rather than quiet text neutrality.

The angular corner treatments and inset cuts become most visible at larger sizes, where the bevel-like details add texture and distinction. In long lines, the tight counters and heavy color can feel dense, favoring short statements over extended reading.
