A high-contrast italic serif with crisp, bracketed wedges and a pronounced rightward slant. Stems are hairline-thin where they taper into serifs and noticeably heavier on main strokes, creating a bright, sparkling texture in text. The curves show diagonal stress and a calligraphic sweep, with moderately tight apertures and elegant, slightly pointed terminals. Numerals and capitals keep a dignified, bookish proportion while maintaining the same sharp hairline/black-stroke rhythm.

Well-suited to editorial typography—book interiors, magazines, and long-form articles—especially for italic roles such as emphasis, quotations, and sidebars. It can also work for formal stationery and invitations where a classic, refined italic voice is desired, and for display lines that benefit from high-contrast elegance.

The overall tone feels traditional and literary, with an elegant, slightly dramatic flourish typical of classic italic typography. It reads as cultured and formal rather than casual, lending emphasis and sophistication without turning ornamental.

The design appears intended as a conventional, readable italic serif with a distinctly calligraphic flavor—balancing classical proportions with lively stroke modulation to provide an elegant companion voice for text-heavy layouts.

The italic construction is continuous across caps, lowercase, and figures, giving strong directional flow in lines of text. Many forms end in fine, pointed serifs and terminals, which enhances delicacy but also makes the design feel most comfortable at comfortable text-to-display sizes where the hairlines can breathe.
