A slanted, calligraphic display face with razor-thin hairlines and sharply swelling strokes that create a bold, high-contrast rhythm. Letterforms are narrow and vertically oriented, with long entry/exit strokes, pointed terminals, and occasional looped flourishes, especially in capitals. The texture is intentionally irregular: strokes show rough, broken, slightly shredded edges and intermittent interior voids that mimic worn ink or distressed printing. Lowercase forms are compact with a notably small x-height and steep joins, while numerals echo the same tapered, cut-in look and angled stress.

Best suited to short, prominent settings where its swashes, contrast, and distressed texture can be appreciated—posters, book or film titles, event headers, album art, packaging, and boutique branding. It can also work for dramatic invitations or certificates when used at larger sizes with generous spacing.

The overall tone feels theatrical and decadent—like formal script pushed into something darker and more gothic. The distressed texture adds a sense of age, grit, and suspense, turning elegant calligraphy into something more dramatic and edgy.

Likely designed to blend formal pointed-pen script with a deliberately weathered finish, offering a decorative, attention-grabbing display look that evokes vintage print and dark-romantic storytelling.

Capitals carry much of the ornamentation and contrast, reading best when given room; at smaller sizes the delicate hairlines and intentional roughness can visually break up. The sample text shows strong word-shape and a lively, flickering texture across lines, emphasizing a handcrafted, worn-ink impression.
