A high-contrast serif with broad, sculpted forms and a distinctly flared, carved-stroke feel. Stems swell and taper into sharp, triangular wedge terminals, while serifs read as pointed and slightly bracketed rather than flat slabs. Curves are smooth and weighty in the bowls, contrasted by hairline-thin joins and inner strokes, creating a crisp light/dark rhythm. Uppercase proportions feel expansive and stately, with large counters in round letters and a strong, vertical spine in forms like B, D, and P; lowercase maintains clear, sturdy shapes with a compact, upright ductus and crisp terminals. Numerals are similarly stylized, with bold main strokes and refined thin details that emphasize the contrast.

Best suited to display roles such as headlines, magazine cover lines, pull quotes, and high-impact editorial typography. It can also work for brand marks and packaging where a premium, classic voice is desired, especially at medium to large sizes where the thin strokes remain clear.

The overall tone is refined and theatrical—confident, formal, and attention-seeking without feeling playful. Its sharp terminals and pronounced contrast add a sense of luxury and seriousness, evoking editorial polish and classical gravitas.

The font appears designed to combine classic serif structure with a more sculptural, flared finishing, heightening contrast and terminal sharpness for striking display presence. Its intention seems to be delivering an elegant yet forceful voice that reads as traditional while feeling distinctly stylized and contemporary in its detailing.

The design’s most defining trait is the wedge-like flare at stroke endings, which gives even simple shapes a cut-stone, engraved character. In paragraph settings, the strong contrast and prominent terminals create a lively texture and pronounced word shapes, making it most impactful when given enough size and breathing room.
