A lightly built, upright roman with gently irregular, roughened outlines that mimic worn ink or soft letterpress printing. Strokes are mostly monoline with subtle, uneven swelling and occasional nicks, giving each glyph a slightly different edge while keeping a consistent underlying structure. Counters are open and round, terminals are generally blunt, and joins stay simple, producing clear silhouettes with a handcrafted texture. Proportions lean narrow and tall in many letters, with a noticeably short x-height and modest ascender/descender presence; figures are straightforward and readable, sharing the same distressed surface.

Works well for headlines and short passages where a tactile, distressed feel is desirable—such as posters, craft branding, packaging, labels, and editorial display on book or album covers. It can also support longer blurbs when set with comfortable size and leading to let the texture read without crowding.

The overall tone feels handmade and timeworn, like printed ephemera, old labels, or stamped packaging. Its texture adds warmth and informality, suggesting authenticity and a crafted, workshop sensibility rather than polished modern precision.

The design appears intended to combine a straightforward roman skeleton with deliberate wear and irregularity, producing a legible typeface that still feels printed, imperfect, and human. The goal seems to be an approachable display face that adds instant patina and craft character to otherwise simple typography.

The distress is consistent across caps, lowercase, and numerals, creating a cohesive “aged print” rhythm in both display lines and longer text. Spacing reads fairly even in running samples, and the rough edges provide character without heavily breaking letterforms.
