A very heavy, block-built serif with pronounced chamfered corners and wedge-like terminals that read as decorative serifs rather than slabs. The letterforms are tightly structured and mostly vertical, with squarish bowls, flat horizontal cuts, and clipped diagonals that create a faceted, poster-like silhouette. Counters are relatively small for the weight, and the overall rhythm is bold and compact, favoring solid black shapes and sharp internal angles over fine detailing.

This face works best at larger sizes where the cut corners and wedge terminals remain distinct, making it suitable for sports branding, varsity-style apparel graphics, event posters, and bold editorial headlines. It can also serve in logos or packaging that want a sturdy, traditional-yet-decorative serif voice.

The font conveys a strong collegiate and heritage-signage tone with a rugged, old-style confidence. Its faceted edges and emphatic weight feel energetic and competitive, while the traditional serif cues add a vintage, institutional flavor.

The design appears intended to reinterpret classic collegiate and western display lettering with a consistent chamfered, carved look. It prioritizes impact and recognizability, using repeated angular cuts and compact counters to create a cohesive, high-contrast silhouette in big, attention-grabbing typography.

Uppercase forms are especially uniform and architectural, while lowercase keeps the same chiseled motif with sturdy stems and simplified joins. Numerals and capitals share the same octagonal/cut-corner construction, helping the set feel consistent in branding and display settings.
