A jagged display face built from sharp, faceted strokes that feel hand-cut rather than mechanically drawn. Stems and diagonals taper into needle-like terminals, with frequent wedge notches and uneven stroke edges that create a rough, carved silhouette. Proportions are lively and inconsistent by design, with variable character widths and slightly erratic rhythm that keeps the texture restless. Counters are often tight and angular, and round forms are rendered as polygonal, cut-stone shapes rather than smooth curves.

Well suited to short display settings such as horror or Halloween headlines, game title screens, spooky event posters, and cover art where atmosphere matters more than quiet readability. It can also work for labels, section headers, or callouts in themed layouts when set with generous tracking and line spacing.

The overall tone is ominous and theatrical, evoking haunted signage, occult ephemera, and low-lit fantasy settings. Its aggressive points and torn edges create tension and movement, making text feel like a warning or incantation rather than neutral communication.

The design appears intended to mimic hand-carved or torn lettering—more talismanic than typographic—using angular construction and aggressive tapering to create an instantly unsettling voice. Consistency is maintained through repeated wedge terminals and faceted curves while allowing enough irregularity to feel organic and unpredictable.

The font reads best when given air: the sharp terminals and compact counters can visually clog at small sizes, while larger sizes amplify the dramatic, spiky texture. Numerals follow the same cut, faceted logic, helping headings and date-based graphics maintain a consistent mood.
