A monospaced serif design with sturdy slab-like terminals and softened, irregular edges that mimic worn type or imperfect inking. Strokes stay largely even in weight, but their contours wobble subtly, creating a mottled silhouette and occasional pinched joins. Counters are compact and sometimes slightly uneven, while straight stems and squared shoulders keep the overall structure mechanical. The texture is consistent across capitals, lowercase, and numerals, producing a steady, typewriter-like rhythm with deliberate imperfections.

Well-suited for short to medium text where a typewritten, timeworn tone is desirable—film titles, posters, book and album covers, packaging labels, and editorial pull quotes. It also works effectively for period-themed UI moments or printed props where a convincing mechanical imprint is needed without looking overly clean.

The font conveys an archival, hands-on character—part office utilitarian, part aged ephemera. Its distressed edges suggest carbon copies, old correspondence, or stamped paperwork, lending a slightly gritty, noir-leaning mood that feels tactile and analog rather than pristine.

The design appears intended to reproduce the feel of monospaced type set by a physical machine and printed under less-than-perfect conditions. By pairing rigid, grid-friendly letter construction with controlled roughening and ink spread, it aims to deliver authentic typewriter texture and character while maintaining a dependable, consistent rhythm.

Because the distressing affects edges and internal shapes, the face reads best with a bit of breathing room; larger sizes emphasize the inky texture, while tighter settings can make counters feel crowded. Numerals and punctuation share the same worn imprint, keeping long passages visually consistent.
