A roughened serif design with compact, slightly chunky proportions and visibly distressed contours. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation, with blunted terminals and uneven edges that suggest ink spread, worn metal type, or a deliberately weathered print impression. Curves are generally round and open, counters are moderately large, and overall spacing feels steady even as individual outlines vary. The texture appears both on outer edges and within strokes, creating a consistent, speckled “printed” patina across letters and figures.

Well-suited for display typography in posters, labels, packaging, and editorial headlines where a weathered, handmade print feel is desirable. It can work for short passages or pull quotes when set a bit larger and with comfortable leading, and it excels in applications that benefit from a deliberately imperfect, tactile voice.

The font conveys a tactile, analog character—like aged letterpress, stamped packaging, or a well-used book cover. Its irregularities add warmth and informality, keeping the tone friendly and approachable while still feeling robust and bold in presence.

The design appears intended to blend classic serif structure with a deliberate distressed finish, simulating imperfect printing and surface wear. It aims to deliver immediate character and authenticity—an “ink-on-paper” feel—without abandoning legibility in common headline and packaging scenarios.

Uppercase forms read confidently in short bursts, while the distressed detail becomes more apparent at larger sizes. In longer text, the texture adds personality but can also introduce visual noise, so generous tracking and line spacing help maintain clarity.
