This italic serif shows a steep forward slant, compact proportions, and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Strokes taper into fine hairlines, with crisp, bracketed serifs and sharp entry/exit terminals that give the letters a cut, calligraphic feel rather than a rounded one. Curves are taut and verticals feel narrow and upright despite the slant, producing a tight, rhythmic texture in text. Numerals and capitals follow the same high-contrast logic, with slender joins and pointed details that keep the overall color light and precise.

Best suited to editorial typography such as magazine headlines, standfirsts, and pull quotes where the high-contrast italic can add sophistication. It can also work for book covers, luxury-oriented branding, and short blocks of text where a refined, energetic texture is desired, especially at medium to large sizes.

The tone is polished and fashion-forward, combining classical bookish cues with a more dramatic, display-leaning sparkle from the fine hairlines. It reads as refined and slightly formal, suited to sophisticated editorial styling rather than casual communication.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, formal italic voice with heightened contrast and condensed elegance, balancing traditional serif structure with a sleek, contemporary editorial presence.

In the samples, the italic angle and narrow set create an airy line while still maintaining strong word shapes; the sharp terminals and delicate horizontals are visually striking at larger sizes. The character of the design comes through most in capitals and in letters with sweeping diagonals and curved tails, where the tapering and contrast are most evident.
