A serifed, calligraphic roman with softly bracketed serifs and subtly flared stroke endings. The letterforms show moderate stroke modulation and a gently handwritten rhythm, with slightly variable character widths and a compact lowercase presence relative to the capitals. Terminals often finish in small teardrop or ball-like forms, and several glyphs (notably in the capitals) include restrained swash-like entry strokes that add movement without becoming overly decorative. Curves are smooth and round, counters are open, and spacing feels even, producing a readable but characterful texture in paragraph settings.

Well-suited to editorial typography where a classic voice is desired, including book covers, pull quotes, and literary headings. It also fits formal printed pieces such as invitations or programs, especially where decorative capitals can provide emphasis without sacrificing legibility in longer passages.

The overall tone is traditional and literary, with a dignified, slightly old-world elegance. The mild flourish and ink-like terminals add warmth and personality, giving text a crafted, human touch while staying composed and formal.

The design appears intended to blend conventional serif structure with a controlled handwritten sensibility—adding flourish through terminals and selective swash-like strokes while maintaining an even, readable text color. It aims to evoke tradition and refinement rather than strict geometric precision.

Capital forms appear more expressive than the lowercase, creating a pleasant hierarchy for titles and initials. Numerals read clearly and share the same calligraphic finishing details, helping them blend naturally in text rather than looking purely mechanical.
