A condensed serif with heavy verticals and compact counters, giving the alphabet a tall, high-waisted silhouette. Serifs are strongly bracketed with noticeable teardrop/ball-like terminals in places, and the joins feel carved rather than mechanical. Round letters are somewhat flattened and tightened, while curves and diagonals stay crisp, creating a dense, poster-ready texture. Figures match the narrow stance and weight, reading sturdy and attention-forward in a line.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and short blocks where a condensed footprint is needed without sacrificing serif character. It works well for posters, book and album covers, mastheads, and packaging that benefits from a vintage editorial or western-leaning voice. For body text, it will be most comfortable at larger sizes where the tight counters can breathe.

The overall tone feels vintage and slightly theatrical, recalling printed broadsides, wanted posters, and classic editorial display. Its tight proportions and emphatic serifs add authority and a hint of old-world charm, making text feel declarative and purposeful rather than casual.

The design appears intended as a space-efficient display serif: narrow, weighty, and highly legible at large sizes, with historical detailing that adds instant atmosphere. Its forms prioritize strong vertical rhythm and a consistent, print-like texture for impactful titling.

In the sample text, the narrow fit produces strong word shapes and high color, especially in capitals. The distinctive terminal treatment and bracketing contribute much of the personality, giving even simple words a period-flavored, headline-like presence.
