A high-contrast serif with sculpted, flared joins and tapered terminals that produce crisp, triangular serifs. The letterforms show a pronounced thick–thin rhythm and a slightly calligraphic modulation, with sharp beaks and sheared tips on diagonals and arms. Uppercase proportions feel stately and compact, while the lowercase has clear, traditional construction (two-storey a, single-storey g) and a sturdy, readable texture. Numerals and punctuation follow the same chiseled, contrasty logic, giving the set a cohesive, print-forward color.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, pull quotes, magazine layouts, and book-cover titling where its contrast and sculpted serifs can be appreciated. It can also work for short blocks of text in print-like contexts when a classic, authoritative voice is desired.

The overall tone is polished and authoritative, with a dramatic elegance that reads as editorial and literary. Its sharp serifs and pronounced contrast add a sense of formality and tradition while still feeling energetic and contemporary in display settings.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif voice with heightened contrast and flared, chiseled finishing, balancing readability with a bold, editorial presence. It aims to create strong, memorable word shapes for titling while retaining familiar, classical letter construction.

The font’s flared stroke endings and pointed details create strong silhouettes, especially in caps and round letters, where thin hairlines and heavier bowls heighten the contrast. Spacing appears tuned for headline composition, yielding dense, confident word shapes in the sample text.
