A high-contrast serif with a consistent italic slant and a distinctly calligraphic, broad-nib rhythm. Thick–thin transitions are pronounced, with tapered strokes and wedge-like, bracketed serifs that often resolve into sharp points. Curves show an oblique stress, and many joins finish with small teardrop or ball-like terminals, giving counters a lively, sculpted look. Proportions are fairly traditional, with moderate ascenders and descenders and a compact, text-oriented lowercase; the overall spacing reads controlled but energetic due to the strong diagonal emphasis.

This font performs well for editorial typography such as pull quotes, subheads, and opening spreads, as well as book or article titling where contrast and italic movement add emphasis. It also suits refined branding and event materials (invitations, programs) that benefit from a classic, calligraphic serif presence. For long passages, it will be most comfortable with generous size, line spacing, and careful contrast-aware color management.

The tone is elegant and expressive, with a literary, editorial feel that suggests refinement and a touch of theatricality. Its pronounced contrast and italic motion lend it a formal, slightly romantic character suited to upscale or classical contexts.

The design appears intended as a classic text-serif italic with amplified contrast and carefully shaped terminals, aiming to combine traditional bookish credibility with a more expressive, calligraphic sparkle for display and emphasis.

Capitals appear stately and slightly narrow with crisp entry/exit strokes, while the lowercase leans more humanist and flowing, producing a clear hierarchy in mixed-case settings. Numerals match the italic angle and contrast, reading best when given enough size and leading to let the hairlines and sharp serifs breathe.
