A condensed, vertical blackletter with sharply faceted strokes and pronounced thick–thin transitions. The forms are built from straight stems and pointed terminals, with narrow counters, frequent wedge-like serifs, and crisp broken curves that create a rhythmic, carved texture. Capitals are taller and more elaborate, while lowercase maintains a tight, upright cadence with occasional hooked joins and pointed shoulders; numerals follow the same narrow, daggered construction for a cohesive set.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, posters, title cards, and identity marks where its narrow, highly structured texture can act as a graphic element. It also works well for album covers, event promotions, or packaging that aims for a gothic or old-world impression, especially when set with ample spacing and contrast against simple backgrounds.

The overall tone is gothic and ceremonial, evoking manuscript lettering, heraldic inscriptions, and dark, theatrical atmospheres. Its dense texture and sharp terminals feel authoritative and intense, lending a dramatic, historic weight to short messages.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic blackletter presence in a compact footprint, emphasizing verticality, sharp terminals, and a strongly patterned page color. It prioritizes atmosphere and historical character over neutral readability, making it ideal for expressive display typography.

In longer lines the tight spacing and dense interior shapes create a strong “black” typographic color, so legibility relies on generous size and careful tracking. The most distinctive character comes through in capitals and in the repeating vertical rhythm, which reads as structured and ornamental rather than casual.
