This typeface uses a compressed, vertical build with compact counters and strong, weighty stems. Subtle contrast is visible in curved letters and joins, creating a slightly engraved feel within an otherwise sturdy, blocky structure. Terminals are mostly blunt with occasional curved shaping, and the forms lean on simple geometry—round bowls, straight-sided stems, and tight apertures—producing a dense, forceful texture in lines of text. Lowercase characters are compact and upright, with single-storey forms where expected and short extenders that keep the silhouette controlled.

It performs best as a display face for headlines, subheads, and short emphatic statements in print or on screen. The condensed width makes it useful when horizontal space is limited—such as posters, covers, packaging panels, labels, and signage—while still delivering a bold, high-impact voice.

The overall tone is assertive and no-nonsense, with a vintage editorial and poster sensibility. Its condensed massing and firm rhythm evoke headlines, signage, and utilitarian print where immediacy and authority matter more than delicacy.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum emphasis in a narrow footprint, combining sturdy industrial shapes with a touch of stroke modulation for character. Its controlled proportions and dense texture suggest a focus on headline utility and strong visual hierarchy.

In continuous text the tight spacing and dark color create a strong typographic “wall,” making it especially attention-grabbing at larger sizes. Numerals follow the same compressed proportions and heavy presence, keeping headlines and labels visually consistent.
