A high-contrast serif with sharply tapered strokes and subtly flared terminals that give the outlines a carved, calligraphic feel. Serifs are bracketed and pointed, with crisp joins and pronounced thick–thin transitions through curves and diagonals. Capitals are stately and wide-set with smooth, open bowls (C, O, Q) and elegant diagonals (V, W, X). The lowercase shows a traditional, readable structure with a two-storey a, a single-storey g with a generous ear, and narrow, upright stems that finish in fine, tapered endings. Numerals follow the same contrasty logic, with an especially curving 2 and 9 and a strong, classical 8.

Well suited to editorial headlines, magazine typography, and book-cover titling where high contrast and refined detailing can shine. It also fits premium branding and packaging systems that want a classical, literary voice, and works nicely for pull quotes or display-sized text blocks.

The overall tone is polished and authoritative, leaning toward classic book typography and heritage branding. Its sharp contrast and flared details add a hint of drama and sophistication, making text feel ceremonial and editorial rather than casual or utilitarian.

The design appears intended to merge classical serif proportions with a more sculpted, flared finishing, producing a formal text-and-display face that feels traditional yet distinctive. The consistent contrast and pointed serif shaping aim to convey elegance and authority while maintaining familiar, readable letterforms.

In the sample text, the rhythm reads smooth and even at larger sizes, with crisp word shapes and clear differentiation between similar forms. The thin strokes and pointed terminals suggest it will look best when given adequate size and spacing, where the delicate details can remain intact.
