This is an italic serif with a calligraphic, gently tapered stroke model and moderate thick–thin modulation. Stems and diagonals carry a consistent rightward slant, with bracketed, flared terminals that soften the joins and keep the texture smooth. Capitals feel stately and slightly wide in their bowls, while lowercase forms are compact and rhythmic with rounded counters, a single-storey “a,” and a lively “g.” Numerals share the same italic momentum and tapering, producing a cohesive, bookish color in text.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as magazines, book interiors, essays, and long-form pull quotes where an italic voice is needed with strong typographic character. It can also serve in refined branding, invitations, and packaging where a classic, flowing serif texture helps convey craft and credibility.

The overall tone is polished and literary, with a traditional, editorial sensibility. Its angled forms and tapered endings add a sense of motion and sophistication, reading as cultured rather than loud or decorative.

The design appears intended to provide a versatile italic with traditional serif cues and a gentle flare at terminals, balancing elegance with continuous readability. Its consistent slant, moderated contrast, and smooth bracketing suggest a focus on comfortable text rhythm alongside a distinctly editorial personality.

In the sample text, the face maintains an even paragraph color with clear word shapes, while the sharper diagonals and tapered terminals add sparkle at larger sizes. The flaring at stroke ends is noticeable without becoming chunky, supporting a refined, print-oriented feel.
