A decorative blackletter with tightly set, vertical proportions and sharp, faceted construction. Strokes alternate between hefty stems and thin cut-ins, producing a chiseled, high-impact silhouette with frequent triangular notches and abrupt terminals. Counters are compact and often pinched, while joins and serifs behave like carved wedges rather than smooth curves, giving the forms a slightly irregular, hand-cut rhythm. Capitals are especially elaborate with broken strokes and ornamental crossbars; lowercase keeps a consistent vertical grid while retaining distinctive, asymmetric details in letters like g, k, and w.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, event titles, packaging, and entertainment branding where a gothic/medieval flavor is desired. It works well for short headlines and logo-like wordmarks, and is less comfortable for long passages due to its dense texture and intricate interior cuts.

The overall tone is medieval and theatrical, evoking engraved signage, fantasy titles, and old-world proclamations. Its jagged detailing and compressed stance add an edgy, mischievous energy that reads as intentionally eccentric rather than strictly traditional.

The design appears intended to reinterpret blackletter through a more exaggerated, carved-and-broken treatment, prioritizing personality and visual bite over neutrality. Its consistent angular vocabulary suggests a deliberate aim for dramatic texture and distinctive silhouettes in display typography.

Numerals follow the same angular, slab-like logic and stay visually dense, matching the texture of the letters. At text sizes the strong black mass can dominate, while the interior cuts and distinctive capital shapes become clearer with more generous sizing and spacing.
