A decorative serif display face built from sharp, thorn-like protrusions that break up every stroke edge. Letterforms keep an upright, oldstyle-influenced skeleton, but the contours are aggressively jagged, creating a vibrating silhouette and highly textured color on the page. Serifs are angular and irregular, counters are often pinched by spikes, and spacing appears uneven by design, reinforcing a hand-torn, abrasive rhythm across words.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as horror or thriller titles, Halloween promotions, metal or punk event flyers, game or dungeon-themed branding, and poster headlines where the thorny outlines can read clearly. It can also work for logos, chapter openers, or packaging accents when used sparingly with generous size and spacing.

The overall tone is dark and theatrical, with a hostile, prickly energy that reads as gothic and macabre. Its spines and ragged edges suggest danger and mischief, making text feel cursed, feral, or ritualistic rather than friendly or neutral.

The design intention appears to be taking a traditional serif foundation and corrupting it with thorn-like damage to create an instantly recognizable, decorative texture. It aims for atmosphere first—evoking menace and occult theatrics—while keeping letter structures familiar enough to remain legible in headline use.

The heavy edge texture reduces clarity at small sizes and in dense settings, but becomes a feature at larger sizes where the silhouettes can be appreciated. Round glyphs like O/C/Q read as ringed forms with outward barbs, while verticals (I/l/t) become needle-like, making line texture noticeably spikier than typical serif text.
