A heavy, high-contrast serif with sharply tapered hairlines and dense, weighty stems. Serifs are crisp and bracketed, creating a carved, slightly calligraphic feel at joins and terminals rather than blunt slabs. The letterforms are wide with strong vertical emphasis, tight internal counters, and pronounced thick–thin modulation that becomes especially graphic in curves (notably in O/Q and the bowls of b/d/p). Lowercase shows sturdy, compact shapes with a single-storey g and a strong, rounded i/j dot, while figures are bold and somewhat condensed in their internal spaces, reading as formal and poster-ready.

Best suited to headlines, deck copy, pull quotes, and large-scale editorial typography where the contrast and serif detailing can be appreciated. It also fits branding applications that benefit from a traditional-yet-bold voice, such as magazine mastheads, fashion or luxury packaging, and striking poster titling.

The tone is confident and commanding, with a polished editorial presence. Its strong contrast and sculpted serifs evoke classic print typography and luxury branding, lending a sense of prestige and drama to headlines.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif voice with maximum impact: wide proportions, strong contrast, and crisp bracketed serifs that create a dramatic, print-forward texture. It aims to balance conventional serif structure with a distinctly display-weight presence for prominent typographic hierarchy.

At larger sizes the hairlines and bracket transitions read as elegant details; at smaller sizes the tight counters and dense color can feel intense, favoring short runs and prominent hierarchy. The overall rhythm is steady and upright, with a slightly engraved quality that gives words a distinct, high-impact silhouette.
