A rough, brush-driven display face with jagged contours, tapered terminals, and frequent ink-like splinters along strokes. Letterforms are loosely constructed with uneven curves and subtly irregular proportions, giving the set a hand-rendered rhythm rather than mechanical repeatability. Strokes show a mix of blunt and knife-like endings, with occasional notches and wobble that mimic dry-brush drag or distressed print. Counters tend to be open and slightly misshapen, and the overall texture is lively and gritty across both capitals and lowercase, with numerals matching the same organic, distressed finish.

Best suited to short display copy where texture is an advantage: horror or Halloween titles, fantasy and occult-themed covers, game titles and UI headings, posters, and album or event branding. It can work for brief punchy sentences or pull quotes, but the distressed detailing makes it less ideal for long passages at small sizes.

The font conveys a dark, arcane atmosphere—part folk horror, part ancient inscription—while still feeling playful in its gestural energy. Its scratchy texture and uneven silhouettes suggest handmade signage, spellbook titling, or ominous storytelling, adding tension and character without becoming fully illegible.

The design appears intended to simulate expressive brush lettering that has been weathered or roughly printed, combining readable letterforms with a deliberately raw, distressed surface. Its goal is to inject narrative mood and handcrafted energy into headlines and thematic branding.

In text settings, the irregular edges create a strong surface texture and noticeable sparkle, especially where thin flicks and spikes appear at joins and terminals. The uppercase reads more emblematic and poster-like, while the lowercase maintains a casual handwritten cadence; punctuation and diacritic marks echo the same rough, inked treatment.
