A heavy, solid display face with irregular, torn contours and rough, chiseled terminals. Strokes are chunky and mostly monoline in feel, but their edges wobble and notch unpredictably, creating a carved-from-black silhouette. Counters tend to be small and unevenly rounded, and many joins look slightly pinched or chipped, giving the letterforms a hand-cut, weathered rhythm. Overall spacing and widths vary from glyph to glyph, reinforcing an organic, handcrafted texture in both caps and lowercase as well as the numerals.

Well-suited for short, high-impact applications such as horror or thriller titles, Halloween promotions, event flyers, and poster headlines. It can also add atmosphere to game interfaces, movie graphics, book covers, and themed packaging where a rough, haunted display voice is desired.

The font projects a spooky, haunted energy—more gritty and tangible than drippy—like distressed signage, cursed print, or a horror title card. Its jagged edges and battered shapes suggest age, decay, and something ominous just beneath the surface. The tone is playful-dark rather than refined, leaning toward campy fright and Halloween theatrics.

The design appears intended to mimic a distressed, hand-carved or eroded lettering style, prioritizing texture and mood over neutrality. Its irregular outlines and chipped terminals are crafted to immediately signal unease and genre, making it a characterful option for themed display typography.

In text settings the uneven contours create a lively, flickering color on the line; it reads best when given generous size and breathing room. The distressed silhouette can fill in at smaller sizes, especially where counters are tight and interior shapes are irregular.
