This serif typeface features sculpted, flared stroke endings with wedge-like serifs that expand subtly from the stems, giving letters a carved, taper-to-flare rhythm. Strokes show moderate modulation with crisp joins and gently sharpened terminals, especially visible in diagonals and curved letters. Counters are clean and open, and the overall texture reads even while individual letters show slightly varied widths and a lively, hand-influenced finish. Numerals and capitals feel sturdy and well-balanced, with distinctive flare cues that maintain consistency across the set.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as magazine headlines, pull quotes, and section openers, as well as book covers and titling. The distinctive flare makes it effective for identity work, premium packaging, and cultural or institutional materials that benefit from a classical yet slightly contemporary serif voice.

The overall tone is refined and literary, combining traditional bookish familiarity with a slightly dramatic, crafted edge. It communicates seriousness and taste without feeling overly ornate, suggesting confidence, authority, and a curated editorial sensibility.

The design appears intended to offer a traditional serif foundation energized by flared, sculptural terminals—bridging classical inscriptional/calligraphic cues with a clean, modern setting for headlines and refined text.

In text, the flared endings add a subtle sparkle and help define word shapes, while the restrained contrast keeps paragraphs from looking brittle. The design’s crisp edges and wedge-like details make it particularly characterful at display sizes, where the terminal shaping becomes more apparent.
