A very heavy, upright serif with compact, wedge-like bracketed serifs and a soft, rounded contour throughout. Strokes show clear contrast, with thick verticals and noticeably thinner joins and horizontals, while terminals frequently finish in small teardrops or ball-like forms. Counters are generous but often narrowed by the weight, producing a dense, confident texture; the lowercase has a large x-height and short ascenders that keep lines visually solid. Curves on letters like C, G, S, and the two-storey g are bulbous and slightly pinched at joins, giving an inked, punchy silhouette. The numerals read as oldstyle figures with varied heights and pronounced, rounded detailing.

Best suited to headlines and short blocks of text where its heavy, rounded detailing can read as intentional character rather than noise. It can work for editorial display, book or magazine titles, and packaging that wants a traditional, handcrafted impression. In longer text, it will perform most comfortably at larger sizes with generous leading to offset the dense color.

The font projects a robust, slightly nostalgic tone—part classic book serif, part display cut with a handcrafted, inked feel. Its rounded serifs and ball terminals add warmth and personality, while the heavy build maintains authority and impact. Overall it feels traditional and emphatic rather than delicate or minimalist.

The design appears intended to blend familiar serif conventions with more decorative, inked terminal shapes, creating a bold text-serif voice that remains readable while offering a distinctive, vintage-leaning personality. It prioritizes presence and warmth, aiming for impactful typography that still feels rooted in classic print forms.

Spacing appears moderately tight for the weight, creating a strong, poster-like color in paragraphs. Distinctive details include the prominent teardrop/ball terminals (notably on a, c, e, f, j) and the compact serifs that keep the design from feeling overly formal. The lining rhythm is stable and upright, with a consistent, dark texture across mixed case and figures.
