A high-contrast italic serif with a distinctly calligraphic, engraved feel. Strokes move from hairline-thin entry/exit cuts to bold, swelling main stems, with crisp wedge-like serifs and long, tapered terminals. The overall rhythm is flowing and forward-leaning, but with firm, sculpted letterforms and pointed joins that keep the texture crisp at display sizes. Lowercase forms show compact counters and occasional swashy details (notably in letters like g, v, w, y, and z), while capitals maintain a poised, slightly formal silhouette. Numerals follow the same contrast and italic slant, with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharp finishing strokes.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and brand marks where its sharp contrast and swashy italics can be appreciated. It can work well for magazine and fashion layouts, luxury packaging, and event or cultural posters, especially when set at moderate-to-large sizes.

The tone is polished and theatrical—luxurious in its contrast, energetic in its slant, and slightly flamboyant in its finishing strokes. It reads as fashion-forward and high-end, with a classic underpinning that feels suitable for premium editorial or branding contexts.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, high-fashion italic voice with strong thick–thin drama and refined serif detailing, prioritizing expressive display impact and a premium editorial texture over plain text neutrality.

Spacing appears intentionally open for display use, helping the heavy strokes and long hairlines breathe. The most expressive shapes add character without fully tipping into script, creating a hybrid of formal serif structure and italic calligraphy.
