A robust serif with strongly bracketed, wedge-like serifs and pronounced thick–thin modulation that reads as carved and sculptural. The letterforms have broad proportions and a stable vertical stance, with compact apertures and tightly shaped counters that reinforce a dense, emphatic color on the page. Curves are full and weighty, while joins and terminals show crisp, angular decisions that give the outlines a slightly chiseled feel. Numerals and capitals carry substantial presence, and the overall rhythm is steady, with an intentionally assertive texture in continuous text.

Best suited to headlines, deck copy, posters, book covers, and brand marks that benefit from a strong, classic serif voice. It can also work for short editorial passages or pull quotes where a dense, high-impact typographic color is desirable.

The tone is confident and traditional, evoking editorial gravitas and a slightly vintage, headline-driven sensibility. Its dramatic contrast and hefty serifs suggest authority and formality, with a touch of old-style poster or print nostalgia.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif structure with heightened weight and contrast for impact, combining traditional proportions with more sculpted terminals and bracketing to stand out in display-led settings.

In the samples, the dense interior spaces and heavy serifs create strong word shapes at display sizes, while smaller settings may feel dark and compact due to the tight counters and high stroke contrast. The design’s angular terminals and bracketing add character without becoming ornamental.
