A heavy, right-leaning serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a lively, calligraphic stress. Serifs are bracketed and often wedge-like, with several letters showing ball or teardrop terminals and sculpted joins that create an ink-trap-like bite in tight corners. Counters are relatively compact, curves are full and rounded, and the overall rhythm is energetic, with strong diagonals and slightly condensed internal spaces that keep the texture dense at text sizes. Numerals and capitals carry the same italicized momentum, with emphatic curves and sturdy vertical strokes that read confidently in short settings.

Best suited to headlines, cover lines, posters, and branding where bold, stylized serif texture is a feature rather than a neutral backdrop. It can work for short editorial decks and pull quotes, and for packaging or labels that benefit from a classic-but-punchy voice.

The tone is bold and performative, blending classical serif formality with a punchy, attention-grabbing slant. It feels editorial and slightly retro, suited to expressive headlines where a sense of drama and personality is desired.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with heightened contrast and true italic energy, prioritizing impact and character for display typography while retaining enough serif structure to feel rooted in traditional text forms.

The italic construction is integral rather than an afterthought: many forms show true italic shaping (notably in the lowercase), giving lines a fast, forward sweep. The design’s strong contrast and tight apertures make it most comfortable when given generous size or leading, especially in longer passages.
