A high-contrast serif with crisp, tapered strokes and small, sharply defined serifs. The letterforms show a calligraphic logic: hairline joins, pronounced thick-to-thin transitions, and subtly bracketed terminals that end in wedge-like points. Uppercase proportions feel stately and open, while the lowercase combines rounded bowls with angular entry and exit strokes, creating a lively rhythm. Figures and punctuation follow the same sculpted contrast, reading cleanly at display sizes with a distinctly engraved silhouette.

Well suited to headlines and subheads where the contrast and sharp serifs can read clearly, as well as magazine design, book covers, and refined brand wordmarks. It also works for short editorial passages or pull quotes where a classical serif voice is desired.

The overall tone is elegant and editorial, with a classical, bookish flavor. Its sharp finishing and deliberate contrast give it a refined, slightly dramatic presence suited to premium typography rather than utilitarian UI settings.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on a classical, high-contrast serif: readable enough for setting text in moderation, but primarily optimized to look polished and dramatic in display contexts.

Several glyphs feature pointed, triangular terminals and angled joins that add a subtly decorative edge without becoming overtly ornamental. Spacing appears balanced for continuous text, while the strongest personality comes through in capitals and in letters with diagonal strokes and curved bowls.
