A dense, broken-stroke letterform with sharply angled terminals, faceted curves, and irregular edges that mimic pen or brush drag. Stems are heavy and dark, with abrupt transitions into thin hairlines and pointed spurs, creating a crisp, chiseled rhythm. Counters are tight and often teardrop-like, while joins and diagonals form jagged silhouettes that read as hand-shaped rather than mechanically uniform. Capitals are compact and assertive, and the lowercase maintains a tight vertical presence with distinctive, hooked ascenders and tapered descenders; numerals follow the same blackletter logic with strong verticals and clipped bowls.

Best suited to display work where its angular detailing can be appreciated: headlines, poster titles, album or book covers, and brand marks that need a medieval or Gothic tone. It can also work for certificates, event materials, or themed packaging when set with generous size and careful tracking.

The font conveys a Gothic, old-world mood—formal and ceremonial, but also tense and foreboding. Its sharp texture and dark color create an immediate sense of drama, evoking manuscripts, heraldry, and arcane or occult storytelling.

The design appears intended to recreate a hand-rendered blackletter feel with dramatic contrast and deliberately rugged contouring. Its goal is less about neutrality and more about establishing a strong historical and atmospheric voice that dominates the page.

In text settings the face produces a strongly patterned “woven” texture, with frequent spikes and interior notches that emphasize vertical rhythm. The personality depends heavily on size and spacing: at larger sizes the detailing and broken edges become a feature, while at smaller sizes the tight counters and complex silhouettes can reduce clarity.
