A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and smooth, bracketed serifs. The letterforms show a calligraphic construction: tapered entry/exit strokes, gently swelling stems, and rounded joins that keep the rhythm fluid rather than mechanical. Proportions feel traditional, with moderate ascenders/descenders and open counters; italics use single-storey forms where expected (notably a and g) and a long, sweeping f. Numerals follow the same high-contrast, slightly cursive logic, with elegant curves and small finishing flicks.

Well suited to editorial typography—magazines, essays, and book interiors—especially for passages that benefit from an expressive italic voice. It also works effectively in display settings like pull quotes, chapter openers, and formal printed materials where a classic, elegant texture is desired.

The overall tone is cultivated and bookish, projecting sophistication without feeling brittle. Its italic movement and sharp contrast create a sense of grace and momentum suited to refined, established voices. The style reads as traditional and cultured, with an understated dramatic flair in larger sizes.

Designed to provide a conventional serif text foundation with an italic that feels genuinely calligraphic and energetic. The intent appears to balance tradition and readability while adding personality through pronounced contrast and lively terminals.

Stroke endings often finish in pointed, angled terminals that emphasize directionality, while round letters keep a smooth, oval stress. Spacing appears comfortably airy in text, helping the lively forms remain readable even with the energetic slant.
