This typeface is a slanted, calligraphic roman with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, tapered terminals. Serifs are expressive and often beaked or hooked, with occasional swash-like entry and exit strokes that give the outlines a drawn-pen character. Curves are full and rounded, counters are open, and the letterforms show a slightly elastic rhythm, with some capitals and lowercase having extended strokes and asymmetrical details that add movement. Numerals follow the same formal, serifed construction, pairing sturdy stems with sharp, angled finishes.

Best suited to display roles where its contrast and flourished detailing can be appreciated—titles, headlines, invitations, certificates, and branded wordmarks. It can also work for short editorial passages or cover copy when a classic, calligraphic voice is desired and generous spacing is available.

The overall tone feels traditional and ceremonial, with a literary, old-world flavor. Its flourished terminals and lively slant suggest formality and craft, lending text a refined, slightly dramatic presence.

The design appears intended to evoke formal pen lettering translated into a serifed display face, balancing readable structures with decorative terminals and a flowing, italic rhythm for an elegant, traditional effect.

The capitals are especially decorative, with several forms featuring prominent entry strokes and curled terminals that can create distinctive word shapes. In longer settings, the strong contrast and brisk joins emphasize texture and cadence more than strict uniformity, reinforcing a hand-rendered impression.
