This typeface features a sculpted serif construction with flared stroke endings and wedge-like terminals that give stems a chiseled, expanding finish. Contrast is pronounced, with thick verticals and finer connecting strokes, producing crisp internal whites and a lively thick–thin rhythm. Serifs are integrated and often bracketed or tapered rather than flat, and many joins show subtle swelling that hints at broad-nib influence. Proportions are sturdy with relatively compact counters and slightly varying letter widths, helping the alphabet feel dynamic rather than strictly uniform.

It is well suited to headlines, pull quotes, and large editorial typography where its flared serifs and high-contrast rhythm can be appreciated. It can also work for book covers, event posters, and distinctive brand wordmarks, especially when a classic yet expressive voice is desired. For extended text, it will be most comfortable at sizes where the fine strokes and tight counters remain clear.

The overall tone is confident and theatrical, blending classic bookish authority with a touch of ornamental flair. It reads as traditional and cultured, yet its sharp wedges and dramatic contrast add a spirited, attention-getting edge.

The design appears intended to modernize a traditional serif voice by emphasizing flared, wedge-shaped endings and a calligraphic thick–thin pattern. The goal seems to be a typeface that can feel literary and established while still delivering strong display presence and character.

Uppercase forms feel particularly monumental and display-like, while the lowercase maintains readability with energetic curves and pronounced terminals. Numerals carry the same high-contrast, wedge-terminal logic, yielding an old-style, expressive texture in running text.
