A calligraphic serif with sturdy, slightly soft-edged strokes and gently bracketed serifs that feel inked rather than geometric. Curves are full and round, with moderate stroke modulation and subtly flared terminals that keep counters open in text. Uppercase forms are stately and somewhat compact, while the lowercase shows a more lively rhythm, with noticeable entry/exit shaping on letters like a, c, e, and s. Numerals are traditional and readable, with varied widths and small finishing details that echo the serif treatment.

Well suited to editorial settings where a classic, slightly calligraphic serif can add character—book interiors, magazine features, pull quotes, and section heads. It also works effectively for boutique branding and packaging that wants a traditional, crafted feel, especially in short headlines and display lines.

The overall tone is classic and literary, suggesting a traditional, human touch without becoming overly ornate. It feels warm and trustworthy, with a quietly formal presence suitable for refined but approachable typography.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif structure with a hand-drawn, calligraphic finish, delivering readability with a distinctive, human cadence. It aims for a classic voice that can carry long-form text while still offering recognizable personality in display use.

In running text the letterforms maintain an even color despite the hand-influenced modulation, and the font’s distinctive terminals and serif brackets give it personality at larger sizes as well. The mix of sturdy stems and rounded joins helps keep the texture smooth, while a few sharper inner angles (notably in diagonals) add crispness.
