A very heavy, high-contrast serif with sculpted, flared terminals and pronounced bracketed serifs. Strokes transition from stout verticals into tapered joins, giving counters a chiseled, almost engraved feel. The caps are broad and stable with strong horizontals, while round letters (O, C, G) show clear thick–thin modulation and crisp interior shaping. Lowercase forms are compact with robust bowls and short-to-moderate ascenders, and the overall rhythm is dense and tightly packed, optimized for impact at display sizes.

Best suited to display applications where strong contrast and bold serifs can carry the design—editorial headlines, cover typography, posters, and brand marks. It can also work for short blocks of emphasized text, pull quotes, and packaging titles where a dense, authoritative texture is desirable.

The tone is authoritative and traditional, with a confident, headline-ready presence. Its flared detailing and sharp contrast add drama and a slightly vintage, print-forward character, suggesting classic publishing or institutional gravitas rather than casual friendliness.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a classic serif voice, combining traditional proportions with flared, sculptural stroke endings to create a distinctive, print-like silhouette. It prioritizes presence and hierarchy, making it effective for attention-grabbing typographic moments.

Several glyphs show angular, wedge-like serif endings and subtly cupped terminals that read as hand-cut rather than purely geometric. Numerals appear sturdy and emphatic, matching the weight and contrast of the letters, and the texture of paragraphs becomes dark and commanding with strong word-shape definition.
