A distressed display face with tall, compressed proportions and uneven, eroded contours. Strokes appear torn and serrated, with frequent thorn-like protrusions and occasional drip-like terminals that create a rough, organic edge. Curves are irregular and lumpy rather than smooth, counters are tight, and overall widths vary noticeably from glyph to glyph, producing a restless, handmade rhythm. The silhouette stays high-contrast in shape (dark, dense forms) while inner details remain sparse and rugged.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings where texture is an asset: horror and Halloween promotions, haunted attraction signage, scary movie or podcast titles, game/stream overlays, and album or merch graphics. It works well when paired with a cleaner supporting typeface for secondary information.

The letterforms project a horror-leaning tension—like scratched paint, dried ink, or charred cutouts—reading as ominous and theatrical rather than refined. The sharp flares and hanging notches evoke classic haunted-house and creature-feature title aesthetics, with a pulpy, high-impact mood.

The design appears intended to deliver instant genre signaling through distressed silhouettes, spiky terminals, and drip-like damage, prioritizing atmosphere and punch over neutrality. Its condensed stance helps pack intensity into narrow spaces while keeping a bold, poster-friendly presence.

In text lines, the uneven edges create strong texture and visual noise, which boosts atmosphere but can reduce clarity at smaller sizes. The numerals and capitals carry especially dramatic spikes and tapering ends, making the font feel more aggressive in headline settings than in continuous copy.
