A refined serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, hairline terminals. Serifs are small and delicately bracketed, with tapered joins that keep the texture airy even at larger sizes. The forms lean on classical proportions: wide, rounded bowls (C, O) contrast with narrower, more vertical shapes (E, F, H), creating a gently varied rhythm across words. Lowercase shows a compact, bookish build with a two-storey g, a looped descender on q, and a narrow, lightly footed t; numerals follow the same high-contrast logic with elegant curves and fine entry/exit strokes.

Well-suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts where a bright, elegant texture is desired. It also performs well for magazine headlines, pull quotes, and formal collateral such as programs or invitations where high contrast and fine detailing can be appreciated.

The overall tone is poised and cultivated, reading as traditional without feeling heavy. Fine strokes and tidy terminals give it a polished, high-end voice suited to sophisticated text settings and restrained display work.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on a classical text serif: refined contrast, understated serifs, and balanced proportions that maintain readability while adding a distinctly elegant, editorial character.

The sample text shows clean spacing and a calm line color, with strong clarity in mixed-case passages. Curved letters (S, Q, g) emphasize smooth, calligraphy-informed modulation, while diagonals (V, W, X, Y) stay sharp and controlled for a crisp, formal finish.
