A tall, tightly set serif with pronounced verticality and strong thick–thin modulation. Strokes alternate between substantial stems and hairline connections, with crisp, bracketed-looking serifs that stay delicate and sharp. Counters are narrow and mostly upright in their construction, giving the design a compact rhythm and a distinctly linear texture across words. The lowercase shows slender forms and compact bowls, while capitals read stately and column-like, reinforcing an overall narrow, high-fashion silhouette.

Well-suited to magazine-style typography, display headlines, and branding where a refined, high-contrast serif is desired. It particularly excels at larger sizes for titles, pull quotes, and elegant wordmarks, where its slender proportions and sharp detailing can be appreciated.

The tone is formal and polished, with a distinctly editorial sensibility. Its high-contrast structure and slim proportions create a poised, upscale feel that can read dramatic when set large, while remaining controlled and conventional in spirit.

The design appears aimed at delivering a classic serif voice in a more elongated, high-contrast wardrobe, prioritizing elegance and a strong vertical cadence. It’s intended to project sophistication and authority while maintaining a clean, conventional structure that feels familiar in editorial settings.

In text samples, the dense vertical rhythm and hairline joins can create a sparkling texture, especially where multiple thin strokes cluster (e.g., in combinations like "li" or around the joins in "w" and "m"). Numerals follow the same tall, refined logic, with clear contrast and narrow set-widths that align well with the uppercase presence.
