A roughened display face with irregular, inked contours and intermittent interior scarring that mimics worn lettering. Strokes are generally slender but fluctuate subtly, with knobby terminals, occasional spur-like protrusions, and slightly unstable curves that create a jittery silhouette. Uppercase forms feel narrow and tall in places, while lowercase maintains compact bowls and modest counters; spacing and widths vary noticeably, reinforcing a handmade rhythm. Numerals share the same distressed outline, with open, sketchy loops and uneven stroke joins.

Best suited to short-to-medium display settings where the distressed edges can be appreciated—film or event titles, Halloween and horror promotions, game menus, and packaging that wants a creepy handmade accent. It can also work for chapter heads or pull quotes when paired with a calmer text face for body copy.

The overall tone is eerie and theatrical, like aged signage or storybook lettering that has been weathered or scratched into place. Its imperfect edges and wavering construction convey tension and unease while still reading as playful and craft-driven rather than purely chaotic.

The design appears intended to deliver an instantly thematic, worn-handcrafted voice—combining familiar letter structures with deliberate abrasion and irregularity to suggest age, damage, or scratchy ink application while remaining legible for display use.

Texture is consistent across the set, with repeated nicks, gaps, and rough contour artifacts that become more apparent at larger sizes. Round letters (O, C, G, Q, o, e) show the strongest interior abrasion, while verticals often end in pointed or splintered tips, emphasizing a prickly, organic character.
