A heavy, faceted display serif with sharply cut corners and chamfered terminals that create an octagonal, sign-painted silhouette. Strokes are broadly consistent in thickness, with minimal modulation, and counters tend toward squared or polygonal shapes (notably in O/0 and rounded letters). Serifs are implied through notched, wedge-like endings rather than smooth bracketing, and the overall construction relies on straight segments, abrupt joins, and crisp interior angles. The lowercase follows the same geometric, cut-metal logic with compact bowls and pointed joins, producing a sturdy, high-contrast-in-shape (not stroke) texture in text.

Best suited to headlines, posters, branding marks, and packaging where a strong, angular voice is desirable. It also works well for badges, labels, and thematic displays that benefit from a carved or heraldic feel, while longer passages may read best at larger sizes due to the dense, faceted detailing.

The font projects a blackletter-adjacent, medieval mood with a bold, emblematic presence. Its chiseled geometry and sharp notches suggest carved lettering, old signage, and dramatic titling, giving it a commanding, slightly theatrical tone.

The design appears intended to reinterpret traditional gothic/blackletter cues through a simplified, geometric, chiseled construction. Its emphasis on bold silhouettes, angular counters, and notched terminals prioritizes impact and thematic character for display typography.

Round forms are intentionally “squared off,” and diagonal strokes often terminate in angled cuts, lending a consistent engraved rhythm across the set. Numerals share the same octagonal construction and feel especially suited to headline or badge-style settings where strong silhouettes matter more than fine detail.
