A refined italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a gently calligraphic construction. Serifs are bracketed and tapered, with sharp, clean terminals and a consistent rightward slant that creates a lively rhythm across words. The lowercase shows traditional italic forms with single-story a and g, a slender, slightly curved f, and flowing joins in letters like n, m, and u; counters remain open and legible despite the contrast. Capitals feel formal and slightly expansive, with elegant curves (notably in C, G, Q) and controlled, sculpted strokes that sit comfortably alongside the more cursive lowercase.

Well-suited to editorial design and long-form reading where an italic voice is needed—pull quotes, introductions, captions, and emphasized passages in books or magazines. It can also serve in formal stationery and invitations when a classic, elegant italic is desired, especially at text to medium display sizes where the contrast and fine details remain clear.

The overall tone is polished and bookish, suggesting classic editorial typography rather than casual handwriting. Its crisp contrast and poised slant convey sophistication and restraint, while the italic movement adds warmth and momentum suitable for emphasis or narrative voice.

The design appears intended as a conventional, high-contrast italic companion for traditional serif typography, balancing crisp refinement with a subtle handwritten cadence. It aims to provide expressive emphasis while maintaining the disciplined structure expected in serious text settings.

Numerals follow the same italic logic, with oldstyle-like movement and curved strokes that keep them harmonious in running text. The ampersand is expressive and looped, reinforcing the font’s calligraphic undercurrent without becoming decorative.
