A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation, crisp hairlines, and weighty vertical stems. Serifs are deep and mostly bracketed, with occasional flaring that gives strokes a slightly sculpted, carved feel. The letterforms are compactly built with sturdy capitals, rounded bowls, and subtle ink-trap-like notches where joins tighten, producing a lively rhythm at larger sizes. Numerals and punctuation carry the same sharp contrast and strong, poster-ready silhouettes.

Best suited to headlines, magazine display typography, and cover work where its contrast and deep serifs can read as intentional style. It can also support short editorial passages at comfortable sizes, especially when you want a bold, classic voice with strong typographic color.

The overall tone is editorial and formal, with a dramatic, high-fashion confidence. It feels traditional in structure yet theatrical in contrast, giving text a sense of authority and occasion. The distinctive terminals and strong black shapes add a slightly whimsical, showcard edge without leaving the realm of classic serif typography.

This design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with amplified contrast and stylized terminals for impact. The goal seems to be confident display performance while retaining recognizable, bookish proportions and a disciplined upright stance.

Curves tend to swell into heavy bowls and taper quickly into fine hairlines, creating a punchy texture in headlines. Several lowercase forms show prominent ball terminals and hooked finishes (notably on descenders), which increases personality and can become a defining feature in display settings.
